Season's Greetings from Enkant 2017

A Christmas greetings film for 2017, made with Enkant and for Enkant, a photography and video studio based in Catania.

Enkant is not an ordinary client: it is itself a studio working with images and film, specialising in weddings. Shooting for people who do your own job changes the terms of the exchange — there is nothing to explain about method, and the whole thing comes down to what you choose to say.

Two and a half minutes is a long time for a greetings message. The running time is the point: this is not an animated card but a small piece of storytelling. The corporate greetings format works precisely when it stops being an end-of-year obligation and becomes a film with a reason of its own, one you would still watch in March.

It is the only corporate film in the portfolio, and it came out of a collaboration between two studios rather than a commission.
